That’s right, you can use both! With most cryptos this would be wasteful, but since the Equihash algorithm is “CPU-friendly”, mining with both GPU and CPU is currently profitable. All you need to do is keep both the CPU threads (-t) and the GPU numbers (-og)

I am currently using 1 MSI 1080ti seahawk x, 2 PNY 1080 ti FE and 2 ASUS 1080 ti Turbo. Definetly recomend the MSI and PNY, The ASUS turbo not too much, dont have backplate and not good for UV OC, If you are going to buy 1080 ti, this article have all the details all all 1080 ti models:
Using this miner is easy but you have to specify the number of cores you have for better performance. You should check your CPU count by opening task manager. The nicehash miner has 2 versions and comes with it. One version is to get paid in BT C and another in Zcash. Now open the nheqminer_zcash” file now you can start mining with CPU and paste the command given below:
I think I’m ready to start building a rig operating system from a stock OS. I’ll be using lubuntu (my pers fav). MIning rigs make the best home computers I have my smallest rig ( 5 x 1070 Founder edition) in my living room. I hope I get everything running smoothly so I can go ham on packages and running nodes.
In 2009, Bitcoin was one of the first applications of the blockchain. Since the invention of money, the problem of has always existed. Although it was temporarily solved in the era of the gold rush, when every ordinary man could mine gold and generate money, since then, banks and credit companies took control over the money, shifted over to working with credit, and practically cut off the connection to gold itself and created a monopoly on printing money. Bitcoin returned the possibility of generating money for everyone. It is no coincidence that the process of generating cryptocurrencies is called “Mining”.
Welcome to Asic Miner Market, the most advanced cryptocurrency mining, hash hardware service. We sell Asic GPU, Coin, Hash, ASIC Mining hardware, and solutions. Why bother with risky mining contracts or renting when you can buy hashing power directly? Asic Miner Market brings more sense to the market.
Plug in your card at the top and click on the model number (the red square below), and the hashing and profitability info will be displayed below (click Equihash to make it blue so it will calculate).
For a solid budget card, the Nvidia 1060 with 6 GB of RAM is recommended (when in stock and not ridiculously overpriced due to the card shortages we’ve been seeing in summer 2017). This GPU will beat the AMD 480s when it comes to mining Zcash!

ZCash uses Equihash as an hashing algorithm, which is an asymmetric memory-hard PoW algorithm based on the generalized birthday problem. It relies on high RAM requirements to bottleneck the generation of proofs and making ASIC development unfeasible, much like Ethereum.
You can download the claymore zcash miner and choose a version. You can download it, you should go for the latest version. Open the zip folder and extract the file and use it. Zcash mining can be a great way promotes the purchase of high end and new GPU. Zcash can be traded for BTC that can easily be sold for cash. So Zcash mining is a good way to fill your bank account indirectly.

It does mine but there is no way to get paid and you need to put your wallet address in some other website, the app crashes and suddenly stops constantly, it needs an update to fix all those software errors,is really bad design it should pay immediately after is done hashing and it should have a place to put your wallet so it sends the coins to the wallet directly and have no issues, very hard to get support, it seems to be working and hashing but just can’t get it to pay or no support, i don’t recommend it seems like a gimmicky lie
I’ve had success both ways, so if you run into an issue with one method, delete the drivers and try the other method. If you need to remove your drivers, use the DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) program from Guru3d.com to remove everything cleanly, then start over.
I have 1080 TI FE and instead of doing 8 USD/day – now am getting 3 USD/day with nicehash! doesn’t worth it’s effort working for now but i will keep it on for a while and will keep on watching. Hopefully!!
Another popular service for renting and leasing hashrate, namely Mining Rig Rentals has yet to introduce support for the new algorithm used by Zcash (ZEC), so for the moment it is not interesting option for people that are all into Equihash. With the big interest however we are not going to be surprised if they don’t take much time to also introduce Zcash support in the next days.

Ran the same settings on both miners and it’s more like 4-5% more than EWBF. 1080 + 1070 =~1020 Sol/s on Bminer with 60% Power limit and 350 W at the wall. On EWBF it’s ~970 Sol/s for both. The 1080 gets the biggest boost on Bminer about 10% ~574 Sol/s with 60% power limit. I’m mining on Flypool which only shows the effective hash rate, so it will take a while to be accurate but it seems legit.
I briefly mentioned it while reviewing the EVGA GTX1080 card, but I thought I would take some time to go over EWBF’s Zcash Cuda Miner in more detail and help anyone unfamiliar with the program or mining in general to get setup and running quickly with it under Windows.
It is advisable to put the fan regularly on a certain percentage so that the heat of the card is about 60 degrees (note that during the day the house is warmer and the temperature will rise accordingly).
