We wanted to investigate whether buying overclocked cards was worth it for mining. If you are buying these cards and using them out of the box in Linux (for machine learning) then you do not have access to the nice Windows overclocking tools. Also, crypto mining generates 24×7 load so some of the aftermarket cooling solutions on the overclocked cards can be extremely advantageous. One other point to note is that larger cards like the ASUS STRIX models have PCB and coolers that rise well beyond the PCIe slots. just wanted to add: especially the 1060 series is a good candidate for mining with lower power consumation. Even Equihash can be run with like 75 to 84 % power which can result in : 297 Sol/s , 86 watt usage, -> 3.45 sol/w

I have a windows 10 system with two nvidia GPUs. One is gtx 960 and the other is gt 710. I am using escavator for mining zcash. I m getting 127 H/s if i use only my gtx 960 GPU. When i added the second GPU, escavator does not read it, ( windows does), still getting 127H/s. How do i increase this? Any ideas pls. One of my GPUs is throwing out a constant stream of "GPU #2 returned incorrect data!" errors. It's a rig with 4x 7950s running at stock speeds (925 MHz GPU clock, 1250 MHz Mem clock) and all are running below 70C with fan speeds set at 85%. Most people with this issue seem to have much higher temps or big overclocks. Also, adjusting the intensity does not help. Has anyone else run into this or managed to fix it?   1. hi, bminer also faster than other miner around 10-15%, but reject data it’s so high, i using on nicehash to mine, reject data around 3% to 5%, i will try direct to mining zecoin later and report of bminer.
    If you are mining at home or by yourself, you should join an existing mining pool. You can choose mining pool to get it started with this process.  You need a mining pool to direct your hashing power. You should compare reviews and features of multiple zcash pools in order to get right decision.  You should choose the nice hash pool to get profitable mining experience.
    The latest NiceHash EQM Zcash 1.0.3a is available for both Windows and Linux and promises up to 320 Sol/s on a stock GTX 1070, and up to 370 Sol/s on overclocked GTX 1070 (you need to use two instances per GPU for maximum performance). We can confirms hashrates that are very close to the ones claimed on the GTX 1070 and of course the miner also does well on other NVidia GPUs. Do note however that it does require SM 5.0 GPU, meaning Maxwell or Pascal as it will not work on older Nvidia architectures…
