A: The miner uses adaptive intensity and tries to use the maximum intensity value, with the help of the –intensity option you can set a limit on the maximum intensity, this will slightly reduce gpu usage and performance. Allowed values 1 – 64. You can set different values for each cards –intensity 64 64 64 64
We’ve been using Nanopool for our ETH mining rigs for over 4 months, and it works just fine. Dashboard is very clear and makes it easy for newbies like us to setup. Payments are released once or twice a day when every time we reach our ETH threshold. So far, no caomplaints whatsoever. Plus, they send you email notifications every time a rig stops mining for any reason.
The other software I will be using in this guide and recommend is MSI’s Afterburner, which the latest version can be found on the MSI site here. The version of Afterburner I used for the guide is 22.214.171.12467.

Hey guys, thanks for the fantastic guide. I have a windows 10 system with two nvidia GPUs. One is gtx 960 and the other is gt 710. I am using escavator for mining zcash. I m getting 127 H/s if i use only my gtx 960 GPU. When i added the second GPU, escavator does not read it, ( windows does), still getting 127H/s. How do i increase this? Any ideas pls.

The latest NiceHash EQM Zcash 1.0.3a is available for both Windows and Linux and promises up to 320 Sol/s on a stock GTX 1070, and up to 370 Sol/s on overclocked GTX 1070 (you need to use two instances per GPU for maximum performance). We can confirms hashrates that are very close to the ones claimed on the GTX 1070 and of course the miner also does well on other NVidia GPUs. Do note however that it does require SM 5.0 GPU, meaning Maxwell or Pascal as it will not work on older Nvidia architectures…
Using this miner is easy but you have to specify the number of cores you have for better performance. You should check your CPU count by opening task manager. The nicehash miner has 2 versions and comes with it. One version is to get paid in BT C and another in Zcash.
