This is a list of the most popular Zcash Mining software for each platform, some of this software contains a built-in developers fee. I try to keep this list up to date as I can, if there is a broken link or missing software please drop me an email.
Experimentation with various GPU selections in the calculator will reveal a card with the best price-to-performance-to-power consumption combination (expressed as MH/s per currency unit). Keep in mind that AMD cards outperform Nvidia cards for Ethereum mining purposes on the EthashAlgo, but AMD doesn’t beat Nvidia when it comes to the Equihash algorithm using the EWBF Miner.
It does mine but there is no way to get paid and you need to put your wallet address in some other website, the app crashes and suddenly stops constantly, it needs an update to fix all those software errors,is really bad design it should pay immediately after is done hashing and it should have a place to put your wallet so it sends the coins to the wallet directly and have no issues, very hard to get support, it seems to be working and hashing but just can’t get it to pay or no support, i don’t recommend it seems like a gimmicky lie
After creating an account you’ll need to setup a worker to help keep track of your mining progress, to do this use the link below and add a new worker to your account called worker1 and set the password as x. (or use details as you see fit)
Oks thanks so its a high investment to make good money thats the way I see it… But what I did not understand is you said: multiply the outputs by 6… …Then multiply the outputs by 6… Why by 6? …. and If i did the math correctly, with the link you provided me with, well the total output income will be $180k an Year (Sure depending on the UNSTABLE MARKET of course) anyhow even getting around $10K it gets back the investment and some extra cash don’t you think? so my question is… is this real? and if so….… Read more »
For this guide I am going to use the Flypool Zcash mining pool and will modify the flypool.bat file. This file will need to be modified with your wallet address as well as any other extra option you wish to enable. A copy of my modified batch file is shown below:
I’ve done a search here and no one is talking about Bminer a new Equihash miner released last month. from gpumining I started with EBWF then I discovered DSTM which was the tits with the higher hashrate but it was fairly unstable if I tried to adjust the vid cards through MSI AB giving me hard freezes or bsods. Sometimes they happened a short while after I walked away after adjusting a setting to give it time to settle. Sometimes hours later. I saw this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2519271.320 and tried it out. Using the exact same stable msi AB settings I… Read more »
For the CPU part of this guide, we are going to use Nicehash miner. While this miner works for both CPU and GPU, we are going to get the best performance if we use different miners for CPU and GPU. This is because the Claymore miner is faster but only works for CPU.
Zcash is a fork of Bitcoin protocol, a currency that brings some privacy improvements to its clients. A unique zero-knowledge proving technology makes it possible to shield some transaction details from prying eyes, like the sender, receiver and transaction amount. The currency has a strong developers and investors team. 10% of all Zcash tokens to ever be mined are allocated for the employees and shareholders, which is a strong stimulus for them to take good care of the network and ensure its further development and propagation.
GPU Graphical Processing Unit, a GPU (or commonly just referred to as a graphics card) was previously the dominant way of Bitcoin mining. It was way beyond the efficiency of a CPU and plenty common among computer users to gain widespread adoption. With the increase in the difficulty it has recently become too inefficient for most to continue mining with GPUs as their electric bills now compete with the value they generate. For futher details, please see our hardware page.

One of my GPUs is throwing out a constant stream of “GPU #2 returned incorrect data!” errors. It’s a rig with 4x 7950s running at stock speeds (925 MHz GPU clock, 1250 MHz Mem clock) and all are running below 70C with fan speeds set at 85%. Most people with this issue seem to have much higher temps or big overclocks. Also, adjusting the intensity does not help. Has anyone else run into this or managed to fix it?
In terms of durability, Zcash will heat up your GPU 24×7 if you let it. Founder’s edition cards using default settings will hit 80C if the ambient temperature is high enough. Cards like the EVGA 1060 6GB card cannot handle the cooling required for Zcash mining for 24×7 operation.
Hi.. Need some help.. I have [HP Pavilion Notebook 15-ab055tx](https://support.hp.com/my-en/document/c04 731184) with NVIDIA GeForce 940M (2 GB DDR3L dedicated) Graphics…Do you think it’s possible mining Zcash In this laptop..
