Disclosure: Mining metrics are calculated based on a network hash rate of 437,207 KH/s and using a ZEC – USD exchange rate of 1 ZEC = $ 243.51. These figures vary based on the total network hash rate and on the ZEC to USD conversion rate. Block reward is fixed at 10 ZEC and future block reward reductions are not taken into account. The average block time used in the calculation is 150 seconds. The electricity price used in generating these metrics is $ 0.12 per kWh. Network hash rate varies over time, this is just an estimation based on current values.

Using this miner is easy but you have to specify the number of cores you have for better performance. You should check your CPU count by opening task manager. The nicehash miner has 2 versions and comes with it. One version is to get paid in BT C and another in Zcash. Now open the nheqminer_zcash” file now you can start mining with CPU and paste the command given below:
I think nowadays altcoin mining become faded. Since mining is not a good solution for scaling up the altcoin. The altcoin is going to change from POW to POs. And there are more and more ICO with fixed amount of tokens. So the future of mining is not so optimistic…

Pro tip: check out the following GPUs: Nvidia’s GTX 1060-6GB/1070/1080 Series; AMD’s RX 470/480, RX 570/580, R9 Series, or HD 7990/7950 (if used cards are available, try to get them from a gamer instead of a miner, with a warranty if possible). As with everything, do your own due diligence to evaluate GPUs based on their hashrates, power requirements, availability, and price.
The new Zcash (ZEC) cloud mining prices are the following after the last upgrade with 25% improvement in hashrate – 0.75 H/s for $29 USD, 7.5 H/s for $280 USD and 75 H/s for $2600 USD. These are up form 0.6 H/s, 6 H/s and 60 H/s for the same prices thanks to the hashrate improvement that apparently the company has achieved in their mining recently. Also don’t forget that you can use our special discount code during checkout to get 3% off the regular prices for Zcash mining hashrate, just enter CryptoMiningBlog5 as promo code during checkout to take advantage of the better price offer.
If you have a Linux CUDA compute machine available we highly recommend using nvidia-docker. Installing different CUDA versions for Zcash mining and deep learning frameworks and managing versions can be painful. Using nvidia-docker you do not have to worry about that.
Sapphire R9 Fury Tri-X 460 -i 7 1025 500 15.12 165W Vcore set to 1.107V + vdrop 6×6.25mV = 1.071-1.075V real voltage. T-mod memory(400Mhz strap) – 0.5% gain. 3840 SP unlock(+20-30Sol\s). Core at 55-59°C(-tt 59), VRM1 temp is higher by 1-2°C, fan% limit >30%<=40%. 1025Mhz - core power 155W + memory 9-11W. Running four Gigabyte Aorus Waterforce Extreme in a normal Case. Runs smooth, almost quiet, a lot of overclocking potential cause of the Watercooling. Getting 3000H/s with slight oc. Good GPU. Highly recommended. I use the MSI GTX 1080 TI AERO. These cards are the best in performance and cooling. They have from to back airflow that keep these cards cooler than most. Note: Do not buy the Gigabyte version of these. They have firmware issues and crash. Replace "eu" for your location, "ZEC-ADDRESS" for your zcash wallet address (transparent address), replace "-t 8" for the number of threads you want to use, and lastly replace "-og 0" for the number of GPUs you're using (as in -og 0 1 2 if you're using 3 GPUs) I really like using EthOS over simple mining cause you can actually somewhat use LXDE as an operating system. The problem with EthOS is the limited number of mining programs you can run and the limited amount of packages you can install (instead of apt-get you have to use apt-get-ubuntu and about 90% of packages won't download or install, and if they do you might have broken EthOS.) –server us1-zcash.flypool.org (the — indicates a parameter with a valid keyword will follow, in this case server. Then a space and the variable for the parameter, in this case the flypool server address.) There is a new miner for Nvidia CUDA GPUs available for mining Zcash (ZEC) promising a slightly faster hashrate than the currently fastest implementation of the NiceHash EQM Zcash NVIDIA miner. The most important thing about this new miner is that it is not limited to only mining on NiceHash, so even with the same speed it is still a nice thing to have as it supports Stratum mining on other mining pools besides NiceHash (it does seem to support NiceHash’s Extranonce Subscribe as well). According to the author of the miner it is designed for Nvidia Pascal GPUs, but should work on older Compute 3.0 or higher Nvidia GPUs with at least 1 GB of video memory. Do note that the miner is not open source and there is only a Windows 64-bit binary release available at the moment, it does not seem to be based on other popular codebase and is not being reported as malicious software by antivirus products. You might still want to have something in mind as the user that posted it on Bitcointalk is a new account and not an established miner developer, even though it seems that the miner does work pretty well.
